- At İKÜTÜMER, the teaching of Turkish and foreign languages is carried out in classes of 15-20 students with instructors who are experts in their fields. Classes are suitable for contemporary education. Classes can be arranged in a “U” seating system when required. This makes it easier for the trainees to see and communicate with each other and their teachers.
- At İKÜTÜMER, the four basic language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) are given equal importance. Teaching activities are supported with projectors and high-speed internet connection in each class. Course levels are planned according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- The faculty members of İKÜTÜMER are graduates of the departments of Turkish Language and Literature, Philology and Language Teaching. The faculty members also have academic careers in İstanbul Kültür University and other universities.
- Students who attend the courses at IKÜTÜMER and finish the basic and intermediate courses are awarded the certificate signed by the TÜMER Directorate and the students who successfully complete the advanced course are entitled to receive the certificate signed by the İstanbul Kültür University Rectorate. IKÜTÜMER certificates are accepted as a reference in determining the language level in many public and private institutions.
